About The Position

A Day in the Life As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly in a cleanroom environment. Working under moderate supervision, you will assemble medical devices according to good manufacturing practices, manufacturing flow, specific standard operating, and safety procedures. Shift: B-Shift: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Requirements

• Requires minimum of 4 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
• Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a clean room environment
• Experience with low and high-power microscopes
• Semiconductor and Wafer Fab experience in the following areas: Photolithography, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, CVD, Metrology, Laser Bonding, Laser Marking
• Surface Mount experience in component attach
• Final Device experience: Final Test, Device Singulation, Device Shaping, Leak testing
• Experience and knowledge working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices according to the validated procedure
• Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
• Comply with all Controlled Environment Area (CEA) / Cleanroom / FAB protocol, including personal hygiene, gowning procedures, and safety procedures
• Ensure continuous flow of work in process (wafers / batteries / device)
• Perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
• Accurately enter data into tracking system
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member in a manner that is conducive to a positive work environment
