About The Position

Assemble parts as specified on work orders approved by Engineering and Production Control based on customer requirements.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift
• Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
• Ability to adhere to safety policies
• Strong math skills and high accuracy when measuring
• Detail Oriented
• Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 1-3 years Previous Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

• Read work orders with attention to detail
• Operate drill press and riveting machine
• Use of small hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers & gauges
• Monitor supplies and items used noting expiration dates, customer specifications and safety policies
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspection as required
• Keep assembly shop area clean and free of debris
• Serve as the backup and overflow support for paint as needed
• Perform other duties as required
