We are seeking a detail-oriented, Assembly Integration Technician, Mid-Level to join our team. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical assembly, including fabrication, subassembly, and final integration, in accordance with work orders and engineering drawings.

Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies, required.
  • U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance preferred.
  • Ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated relevant experience in related field.
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands that are associated with work.
  • Experience with warehouse and manufacturing processes and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled in operating floor machinery (mills, lathes, drill presses), hand tools (drills, grinders), and precision instruments (calipers, gauges, multimeters) preferred.
  • IPC certifications preferred, including IPC-A-630, IPC-WHMA-A-620, and IPC-J-STD-001.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete mechanical and electrical assembly, including component fabrication, subassembly, and final integration in accordance with a work order and engineering drawings.
  • Perform all production and manufacturing functions, including assembly of mechanical and electrical enclosures, interpretation of technical drawings, and execution of product quality inspections.
  • Cut, sort, color-code, measure, crimp, soldering, and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials to form wire harnesses.
  • Operate a full range of electrical and mechanical assembly tools including wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, torque wrenches, rivet guns, drill presses, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions.
  • Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
  • Hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
