About The Position

Exentec is seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in Nampa, ID. In this role, you will assemble a wide range of electromechanical systems, including plumbing subassemblies and full product integrations. You will work across multiple product families, interpret complex documentation, troubleshoot basic issues, and actively support production flow, quality, and safety standards. This includes regular participation in the Safety Behavior Observation (SBO) program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in electro‑mechanical or manufacturing assembly.
  • Skilled in interpreting wiring diagrams, pneumatic/hydraulic layouts, and updated prints.
  • Proficient with torque drivers, multimeters, measurement tools, and power tools.
  • Able to identify and resolve mechanical fit and routing issues with minimal direction.
  • Knowledgeable in hardware specifications, torque values, and assembly sequences.
  • Confident with measurements, tolerances, and fractional‑to‑decimal conversions.
  • Capable of identifying and correcting basic nonconformities and knowing when to escalate.
  • Comfortable with ERP data entry and reviewing electronic documents.
  • Strong collaboration skills; supports teammates and helps maintain workflow.
  • Flexible and able to shift between assemblies or processes as needed.
  • Consistent, precise handling of parts, connectors, and small fasteners.
  • Demonstrates strong safety awareness and active participation in the SBO program.
  • Frequent standing and use of hands are required.
  • Must have close‑vision capability and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electromechanical, plumbing, and full‑system products with minimal supervision using detailed drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform moderately advanced assemblies, including component fitting, cable routing, functional checks, and rework.
  • Interpret updated documentation, identify inconsistencies, and communicate feedback to leads or engineering.
  • Work across multiple product families, adapting to varying processes and requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, tool care, and safety.
  • Identify and report process or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Transport materials and components within the work area using designated equipment.
  • Support production flow by assisting other assemblers or departments as needed.
  • Help train new or less experienced assemblers by sharing best practices.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the SBO observation program.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with production and quality teams.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
