Assembly/Production Technician
About The Position
Under general supervision, uses hand tools and electric tools to mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, assemble power stacks and install power wire and/or wire harness for various products according to job shop instructions and by following the company's workmanship standards. Possess the basic understanding of measuring to 1/32 nd of an inch with a temp measurer, torque tolerance and hardware assembly. C omplete other duties as assigned. This role involves cross-training opportunities in other departments to enhance skills and support team needs. Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 0-2 years’ demonstrated fabrication, sheet metal, carpentry or related experience
- Possess the basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly
- Ability to work independently to complete milestones
- Demonstrated ability to meet quality and productivity standards within team
- Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities
- Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service and teamwork
