About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician – Process Piping to support the assembly of industrial process piping systems. This role focuses on piping bolt-up assembly, interpreting drawings, and building piping runs to exact specifications in a production environment.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in piping assembly or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with BOMs and assembly processes
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in process piping systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
Nice To Haves
- Prior industry experience is a plus and may reduce training time
Responsibilities
- Assemble process piping systems, primarily through piping bolt-up
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and mechanical prints
- Follow Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure correct components are used
- Build piping runs according to drawing specifications
- Verify completed assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
- Work safely and efficiently while supporting production schedules
