About The Position

The Assembly & Test Technician is responsible for performing diversified assembly and testing operations on hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. This role ensures products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements prior to shipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Experience with mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing operations.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Ability to meet physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work any assigned shift.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical disciplines.
Experience with hydraulic assembly or valve testing.
Experience in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly and testing tasks as directed by Shop Leads, Supervisors, or Operations Management.
Assemble, fit, align, and adjust hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to meet engineering specifications.
Set up and operate test stand equipment independently and perform pressure and functional testing.
Interpret and work from assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to verify tolerances and quality.
Identify defects, malfunctions, or quality issues and take corrective action or escalate appropriately.
Document inspection results, test data, and production records accurately and timely.
Maintain or exceed established production rates while ensuring quality standards are met.
Perform light preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties for assigned work areas and equipment.
Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
