About The Position

Temp To Full-Time Job Responsibilities: Connects parts into more complex components and ensures all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. The goal is to produce a quality product. Assembly is one of the final stages before our product is shipped to our customers, so attention to detail is required to be successful at this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work with metric and standard measurement systems (including decimals).
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and drawings (will train)
• Ability in using tools: o Power air and/or battery powered tools such drills, impact wrenches, and staplers. o Drill press and table saw o Simple tooling set up.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• Ability to work with wood, metal, and foam.
• Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Reads and comprehends instructions and follows established procedures.
• Verifies that you have all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
• Takes measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
• Selects or modifies components according to measurements and specifications.
• Aligns material and put together parts to build more complex units.
• Checks output to ensure highest quality.
• Maintains equipment and workspace in good condition.
• Inputs production quantities and time data.
• Reports on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
