About The Position

As a member of the Asset/Liability team, the successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and reporting the interest rate risk and liquidity position of the Bank, as well as working with Bank management to develop and implement strategies that reduce risk while enhancing the Bank’s net interest income. Candidate will have the opportunity to work a hybrid scheduled after successful training and with management approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related discipline. Commensurate experience will be considered.
• One (1) year of experience in applicable fields of study, preferably within the banking/financial services industry.
• Foundational understanding of banking industry concepts and financial products.
• Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel (candidate will be tested)
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Drive and self-motivated, able to manage time efficiently and to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Compile periodic value at risk and income at risk analyses to comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Assist with the calculation of the Bank’s liquidity position, forecast, and stress testing.
• Participate in the annual preparation of the Bank’s strategic plan and monthly updates.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist senior management in strategic decisions.
• Update and improve the modeling process to ensure accuracy.
• All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program.
