About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned Investigates complaints, incidents, and possible suspicions of criminal theft, fraud, waste and abuse, misconduct, and Insider Threats Respond to incidents or violations involving lost or stolen QTS equipment and/or materials Monitor, analyze, and follow-up on statistical data related to inventory losses. Evaluate system and program security vulnerabilities; develop procedures and countermeasures that protect operations Incorporate all security disciplines; recommend and develop requirements, specifications, designs, and procedures that satisfy program security policy and planning guidance Work with the Asset Protection team members in conducting facility and property audits to monitor and drive progress. Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to site security and vulnerabilities Take on a lead role with the Asset Protection team in internal and external theft investigations and resolution. Builds strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners; works collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives; and communicates with energy and positivity to motivate, influence Develop and deliver professional level reports, memorandums, information, analytical reports and briefings, and/or recommendations that support inquiries and investigations Complete investigative reports as necessary and recommend internal administrative action or referral to law enforcement BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Criminology, Business, or related field or equivalent professional experience. Previous experience conducting criminal law enforcement investigations or commercial and/or professional services firms (investigative, legal, accounting, or public relations). Extensive knowledge of law enforcement elements to include their authorities, roles, responsibilities, jurisdictions, functions, and relationships. Interviewing and debriefing skills commensurate with the professional experience and education of the prospective job candidate. Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: investigative litigation support, commercial fraud investigations, multi-jurisdictional investigations, reputational due diligence. Liaison experience with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement authorities. Strong project management skills. Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365). Ability to travel worldwide. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce customer-facing intelligence reports. Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization and to operate in a professional, confidential work environment. Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Work independently or in a collaborative work environment.
