The assistant/associate professor will teach assigned courses and lectures as needed in the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) curriculum. Content areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to public health, community health, healthcare systems and infrastructure, equity in healthcare practice, patient-provider communication, interprofessional practice and education (IPE), epidemiology, biomedical ethics, healthcare communication, standardized test taking and assessment, research methods, research ethics, and human subjects communication. The incumbent will contribute to the university’s commitment to the advancement of knowledge and intellectual growth by engaging in scholarly activity. The incumbent will also contribute to the University through active participation on committees and other activities required to maintain and develop the mission and goals of the institution. In addition, they will develop meaningful mentoring relationships with students for academic and career advising.
