About The Position

The Assistant Café Manager contributes to the success of the café by assisting the Café Manager in day-to-day café operations. You will use your knowledge and strengths to help the barista team grow, to help create and maintain a better guest-first culture every shift. This is a working management role- our managers work on the floor and prepare customer orders, offer hands-on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years café experience
  • 1 year management experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to kneel, squat, bend and reach to stock shelves
  • Must be able to lift/ carry packages up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year management experience preferred
