About The Position

Assistant Cage Supervisor is a liaison between Cage Management and Cage Tellers. This position is responsible for the operational oversight of the Tellers during the assigned shift. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS-Oversee Teller performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.-Adjust Teller schedules based on business demands.-Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.-Maintain extensive knowledge of departmental computer systems.-Ensure all cage equipment is maintained and in working order.-Generate and submit daily reports on cage activities as required.-Perform basic accounting functions, clerical duties, filing, and proficient use of a 10-key calculator.-Resolve any operational issues that may arise during the shift.-Maintain open communication with other Cage Supervisors to ensure departmental efficiency and consistency. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a casino cage environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • A casino work permit from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
  • Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills with all levels of staff and management.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record of reliability and punctuality.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance in line with company standards.
  • Computer literacy and ethical decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of cage operations and procedures.
  • Ability to manage significant responsibilities with strong leadership and organizational skills.
