About The Position
At The Learning Experience, we create joyful early learning experiences where children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our leadership team supports teachers, partners with families, and maintains high-quality classrooms through strong coaching and collaboration. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Center Director to support daily center operations, mentor teachers, and help maintain compliance and program excellence across classrooms serving infants through preschool.
Requirements
- CDA credential required
- Childcare or preschool experience required
- Strong knowledge of licensing standards and classroom practices
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily center operations and classroom quality
- Coach teachers implementing the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Maintain compliance with New Jersey licensing standards
- Assist with staff scheduling and classroom coverage
- Support family communication and enrollment tours
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios
