About The Position

As the Assistant Community Manager, you will take the initiative to assist with day-to-day operations of this community with 258 apartment-homes. This position requires strong leadership skills to assist in the oversight of leasing and administrative activity for the community. Other responsibilities will include outreach marketing efforts, financial management, and resident satisfaction to increase profitability.

Requirements

  • Multifamily experience required
  • Yardi exp preferred, strong administrative skills
  • Availability to work at least one Saturday per month (still enjoy 40 hours per week)
  • Strong ability to convert prospect traffic to tours and leases
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle resident issues
  • Organization skills, strong follow up, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Vehicle, driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory exp a plus

Responsibilities

  • Leasing/sales focused, administrative duties for efficient operations
  • Successfully manage renewals for resident retention goals
  • Achieving occupancy goals and financial objectives for the community
  • Inspect vacant units and ensure the interior and exterior of the community are well-maintained
  • Effectively manage Renter’s Insurance to remain in compliance with policy
  • Resolve resident concerns successfully, communicate throughout the day
  • Help develop/train the Leasing Specialist, including 1:1 coaching and meetings
  • Complete various reports accurately and timely, including pricing recommendations
