About The Position

Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles some unusual situations independently. May interface with design team. May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software. May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. Assists with and monitors change orders May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract. Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies. Requirements

  • BA/BS Construction Management, Business or related curriculum and 2 years of commercial construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on large commercial construction projects.
  • Experience in construction related to foundations, framing and concrete in commercial construction.
  • Experience in project documentation, such as project schedule, RFI, submittal and meeting minutes.
  • Project cost experience with subcontractor invoices, change order process and budget compliance.
  • Prior duties such as coordinating project schedules, subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Experience with site safety and the implementation and enforcement of OSHA and company standards.
