In this Assistant Controller role, you will utilize your problem-solving skills by taking the initiative to identify and resolve problems. The Assistant Controller position consists of regulating the day-to-day of the accounting staff and providing updates to the Controller. How You Will Impact Schoox Manage finance department operations, including accounts payable, billings & collections Contract Review Review semi-monthly payroll runs Calculate sales commission payments Monthly close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques Advanced preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required Distinguish and evolve process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
