About The Position

Are you an experienced Lab Technologist or Supervisor ready for the next step in your career? As an Assistant Core Laboratory Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist in the day-to-day handling of the administrative operations and technical supervision of the lab. In this role, you will hone both your technical skills and gain valuable personnel management experience. This laboratory offers cutting edge technology and equipment. In this role, you'll have the chance to contribute in a meaningful way to the growth of the laboratory while pushing the boundaries of clinical testing to include Toxicology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Serology, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Not to mention, you and the Lab Manager will be collaborating to ensure the overall lab team is functioning as a well-oiled machine. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science or closely related science is required
MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification
Hawaii Medical Technologist License
3+ years of experience in clinical laboratory testing environment is required
Strong technologist skills are required in all the sections of the laboratory including: chemistry, toxicology, microbiology, hematology, urinalysis, endocrinology, , diagnostic immunology, etc
Willingness to work beyond extra hours for special project as assigned in order to meet important deadlines
