We are currently have a vacancy for a dedicated & experienced Assistant Corporate Hospitality Manager to join one of our most prestigious sites located in Melbourne CBD! This role will see you exceeding client expectations, with your experience and skill in managing a small high performing team while ensuring client standards are met and operational excellence. The Position Client management, event planning and operational set up to deliver successful functions Mentoring and growing your team Conduct regular site inspections, client follow-ups and liaison, ensuring operation meets Compass Group standards Work co-operatively with the Site Manager, Operations and kitchen teams daily, provide strong leadership and guidance Consistently re-evaluate working practices in terms of efficiency, innovation and cost cutting procedures and seek out and implement new practices where required Invest in relationships with industry peers and colleagues to ensure best practice methods are applied and the team is up to date with industry/global trends The Person Demonstrated experience at management level, qualifications in hospitality with business management preferred Experience in a comparable corporate, fine dining or 5 star /multi-site catering environment Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levels Proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive and motivated with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospitality professionals Able/Willing to obtain a National Police check (NPC) As an Australian federal police check is required for the successful candidate - the successful candidate will need to hold permanent residency or Australian citizenship The Benefits Career Growth – Unlock your potential with our career pathway and my learning programs within Compass Group. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience at management level, qualifications in hospitality with business management preferred
