General Responsibilities Assume day-to-day responsibility for operations in the absence of the Director. Provide administrative and program oversight and support for supportive housing programs and Kathy Paulsen Hope House Shelter. Supervise and oversee the performance of case management personnel for supportive housing programming. Ensure compliance with funding requirements and manage fiscal responsibilities. Maintain program statistics, budgets, and monthly updates. Prepares and submits all required reports accurately and on time, including program updates, statistical data, and compliance documentation, in accordance with agency and funder requirements. Ensure necessary equipment and supplies for program and staff needs. Provide direct supervision and orientation to Community Services North staff. Conduct program intake and assessment, and monitor case management service goals. Represent Catholic Charities at community meetings and collaborate with other agencies. Respond to staff emergencies and assist in policy development and program compliance. Actively support and hold each supervised employee responsible for achieving their professional growth and development goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field with 5 years of experience in direct services, crisis intervention, and case management; or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in program development and implementation.
  • Experience working with low-income and homeless persons.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Skills in collaborating with other disciplines and community service providers.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures, family systems, and social backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passage of background clearance, TB test, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
