About The Position
Hillcrest Firethorn is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring exceptional care for our residents in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
- Passion for serving older adults
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living experience preferred
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing team members
- Assist with staff scheduling, staffing support, and clinical coverage as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and Hillcrest standards
- Monitor quality measures and support clinical performance improvement
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and clinical oversight
- Promote a positive, team-focused environment
