About The Position

The Assistant Director of Player Development supports the Ole Miss Softball program by coordinating and enhancing student‑athlete development on and off the field. Job Description: This role assists with skill instruction, video and data review, performance programming, and overall player support to help maximize each student‑athlete’s potential while upholding team and university standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist coaches in creating and implementing individualized development plans for student‑athletes, focusing on technical, tactical, and mental skills.
• Support position‑specific and team drills during practices, emphasizing fundamentals, competitive standards, and game situational awareness.
• Coordinate small‑group or individual skill sessions as directed by the coaching staff.
• Support the planning and execution of team meetings, film sessions, and development workshops.
• Help maintain a positive, accountable, and inclusive team environment that aligns with Ole Miss and Ole Miss Softball values.
• Assist with camps, clinics, and community engagement events as directed.
