Assistant Director – Children's Fitness My Gym Wellesley is opening a beautiful brand-new facility in the heart of Wellesley Center, and we're looking for a dynamic, high-energy Assistant Director to help build our team and grow our community from day one. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for someone who loves working with children, developing teams, and creating an upbeat, positive environment where families feel welcome.

Requirements

• Leadership or management experience (fitness, education, childcare, or service industry a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting families
• Ability to coach, delegate, and motivate a team
• Energetic, professional, and solution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director to drive gym goals and overall success
• Lead with positivity while building strong relationships with families
• Hire, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
• Conduct team check-ins and leadership meetings
• Help achieve enrollment goals by delivering exceptional trial experiences
• Support marketing, community outreach, camps, parties, and special events
• Oversee scheduling, daily operations, and administrative responsibilities
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and program quality
