About The Position
District 27 is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for both Sallisaw (Sequoyah) and Tahlequah (Cherokee) offices. Candidates will perform a full range of prosecutions including misdemeanors, juveniles, and felonies. This is a great opportunity for the candidate wanting to gain hands-on experience. Right in the heart of green country with the Illinois River and Lake Tenkiller.
Requirements
- Experience is not required but preferred.
- Will consider attorneys sitting for the bar exam.
- Willing to travel between counties with use of state vehicle.

- Perform a full range of prosecutions including misdemeanors, juveniles, and felonies.
