About The Position

We’re seeking a strategic, business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel. This highly visible role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a key legal partner to our business units and departments, with a particular focus on contracts, commercial and corporate matters. Commercial: Serve as lead internal attorney for various businesses, including contracts, commercial and other legal matters. Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional structures is preferred. Other Business Counseling: Opportunity to lead other legal matters within various businesses, including those relating to HR, M&A, environmental, product liability and commercial litigation. Special Projects: Assist and manage projects initiated by the legal department and/or senior management of the Company, including taking the lead on policy revisions and corporate administrative matters; research laws, codes and regulations and provide interpretative guidance; coordinate and/or manage projects, as needed, including ensuring the timely coordination of document review with both internal and outside counsel, as well as coordination with Company’s personnel and senior management; review and monitor outside counsel’s monthly invoices and expenses. Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Excellent Project Management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional structures is preferred.
