For more information, please visit us at https://www.fairfaxhospital.com/ Position Summary: Asistant Director of Intake We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to bring additional expertise and experience to our team. Use your therapeutic skills to watch the growth of patients and make a lasting impact. The Assistant Intake Director assists the Director of Intake in the operations of Assessment and Referral Counseling department as well as any other departments falling under the purview of the Intake Director. Provides supervision and training to supporting team members. Will assist articulating and implementing the facility philosophy and mission, assist in oversite of work and setting the tone of efficient and effective interventions with a heavy emphasis on customer service. In this regard, the Assistant Director oversees assessments and admissions training. They will assume administrative responsibility for the Intake Director in their absence to ensure consistency of department workflow and application of policy. They will help facilitate the response to requests for services and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers and other payers, assures that good customer service practices are utilized, maintains active and productive relationships with all contracted agencies, key agencies and community policy teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required
  • A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting.
  • Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organization or comparable entities.
  • Washington State RN or Licensed behavioral health counselor LMHC/LICSW preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certifications within 30 days of hire.
