The Assistant Logistics Supervisor (ALS) is responsible for supporting the Logistics Supervisor with overseeing all dock (shipping/receiving) and delivery operations at the Southpoint Millwork facility. This role assists in leading and coordinating all logistics functions, including inbound and outbound deliveries, dock operations, inventory accuracy, equipment management, and personnel supervision. The Assistant Logistics Supervisor plays a vital role in promoting operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement while upholding Wilson Lumber’s Core Values. Scope of the Position: This position assists in supervising delivery drivers, driver helpers, dock associates, warehouse associates and works closely with administrative staff at the Southpoint Millwork facility as well as the dispatcher. The ALS is responsible for maintaining open communication within the team, coordinating with leadership, administrative staff, and dispatch, and stepping in for the Logistics Supervisor as needed.
