About The Position

Rifle Paper Co. is looking for an Assistant Manager, Production. This is a hands on leadership role based in Maitland Florida within our production operation. You will oversee daily print and fabric cutting processes, ensuring work flows efficiently, safety and accurately. You will lead a team of production associates responsible for artwork printing, print sizing, and fabric cutting in various yardage increments. You will balance schedules, adjust priorities, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement, all while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+yrs of prior print production experience with a minimum of 1yr of people management experience required.
  • Prior experience with printing operations, cutting processes, or similar production environments.
  • Working knowledge of production metrics, quality control, and workplace safety standards.
  • Proven ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Must have flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, or extended hours as required by operational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations including artwork printing and fabric cutting.
  • Execute production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet demand.
  • Monitor output, quality, waste, and rework to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify process improvements to increase throughput and reduce errors.
  • Champion safety by enforcing equipment protocols and conducting regular safety huddles.
  • Coach and develop team members to meet performance expectations and grow their skills.
  • Provide clear communication on daily goals, performance metrics, and priorities.
  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and performance conversations in alignment with company standards.
