Position Objective: Responsible for day-to-day management of the assigned retail store and for meeting sales and production goals determined by strategic planning and budgeting processes. Must provide training, coaching, and support to team members along with ensuring proper tools and equipment are accessible for team members to be successful. Must have the ability to work flexible full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

5+ years prior retail experience and 1+ year of supervisory experience
Above average written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Develops team approach to meeting objectives.
Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Assists marketing personnel with donation development in area of control; monitors and evaluates efforts; reports trends regularly.
Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining adequate inventories; coordinates needs with support staff.
Assists in the formulation of pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales and promotions; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
Keep work area neat, clean, and safe.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Partners with GoodWORKS Program Manager to provide appropriate training programs for clients that will assist clients in meeting their goals.
Assists with the evaluation of client job performance.
Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
