ArkVets is seeking an experienced veterinary Assistant Manager with a passion for business leadership willing to take a brand-new start-up to success. Responsibilities

  • Guide the team and grow the practice's community presence.
  • Promote extraordinary client engagement.
  • Implement and maintain standards within the practice.
  • Hold the team to standards of care.
  • Ensure commitment to extraordinary client experience and patient care.
  • Respond diligently and accurately to client needs.
  • Lead and motivate team members.
  • Align with the company's mission and values.
  • Understand and utilize KPI metrics for performance measurement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a leadership role within a veterinary clinic strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including practice management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with P&L statements.
  • Ability to adapt to quick changes in practice operations.
  • Self-starter who can meet deadlines without micromanagement.
  • Teachable and coachable with a desire for growth.
