We have a Full Time Assistant Nurse Manager Cath and IR Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision. We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities. Position Summary: Delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with real or potential life-threatening illnesses in support of and in collaboration with care directed by the medical staff. Accountable for the smooth, effective and efficient functioning of the unit during the assigned shift with minimal direction from the department head. Supervises and instructs department's nursing personnel for assigned shift. Ensures that the department's nursing staff complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital and that age/developmentally appropriate care is given in accordance with unit standards. Collaborates with other disciplines to facilitate patient care. Assists and provides input to department head regarding employment interviews, staff performance issues/needs, and employee schedules. Daily accountability for planning, directing, leading, and evaluating care provided by the Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, participates on the committees and task forces as assigned. Formulates reviews and assists in the revision of policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience and advanced knowledge in interventional cardiovascular and radiological services.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in acute care facility.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Current FL RN licensure.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • C VT Certification preferred.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
