The McGill University Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is inviting applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) based at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH). The professorial rank will be determined according to the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. This will be a Contract Academic Staff position and does not confer eligibility for tenure. The Division of Nuclear Medicine is a central component of the JGH’s advanced imaging infrastructure, supporting oncology, neurology, cardiology, inflammatory disease, and theranostics programs with state-of-the-art PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and radionuclide therapy. The JGH is a major teaching hospital of McGill University, recognized nationally and internationally for excellence in hybrid imaging and molecular diagnostics. There is a large research program with the division conducting phase I, II and III clinical trials. Exceptional research opportunities exist both within the department and across departmental boundaries within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the University. The successful candidate will be appointed to clinical practice at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH)—a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Canada’s internationally renowned McGill University, located in the vibrant and multicultural city of Montreal, in the province of Quebec. The successful candidate will be involved in the academic activities of the McGill University Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Division of Nuclear Medicine. The incumbent will be responsible for clinical, teaching, and research activities within the department, which currently includes 16 full-time fellowship trained radiologists. The practice at the JGH is general radiology with specialized training and interpretation. This position is designed as a 50% clinical/50% research Clinician–Scientist role.
