NET-A-PORTER is part of LuxExperience, the leading digital, multi-brand luxury group. NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Assistant Personal Shopper to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are: Location: Our New York Office Reporting into: Personal Shopping Assistant Manager Team size: approximately 40 Work model: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home Employment type: Fixed Term Contract (ending November 2026)

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to designated Personal Shoppers.
  • Assist with client communications and coordination to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Maintain and update customer profiles to support personalized product recommendations.
  • Support Personal Shoppers by managing client requests during holidays or absences.
  • Resolve daily order issues including returns, stock discrepancies, and delivery inquiries.
  • Provide high-quality client service by responding to customer requests promptly and professionally.
  • Process orders, pre-orders, and product reservations when required.
  • Escalate customer complaints or potential lost sales to the Personal Shopper or manager when necessary.
  • Conduct ad-hoc stock searches and monitor availability of key products.
  • Support Personal Shoppers with stock requests for internal and external client appointments.
  • Check stock levels and coordinate consignment deliveries for key clients.
  • Arrange product samples to be sent to the head office in Westfield when required.
  • Assist with creating personalized client emails featuring product images, details, and pricing.
  • Help communicate the benefits of the Personal Shopping service to new or unengaged customers.
  • Support follow-up communication with clients via email or phone.
  • Maintain and update customer lists and client outreach records.
  • Assist with the setup, participation, and breakdown of client events.
  • Support the preparation and organization of EIP fitting rooms for client appointments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
