About The Position

The Assistant Pickleball Professional supports the development and daily delivery of the club’s pickleball programming. This role provides high-quality on-court instruction, assists event operations, and ensures a welcoming, positive experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, organized, and passionate about growing the sport in a community-focused environment.

Requirements

Knowledgeable pickleball player with professional teaching background preferred.
RSPA, PPR or IPTPA certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and member-service orientation.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-demand pickleball seasons.
Ability to teach and move actively on the court for extended periods.
Ability to lift and transport equipment such as ball carts and teaching gear.

Responsibilities

Teach private and semi-private lessons for adults and juniors at all playing levels.
Assist in group clinics, beginner programs, and events.
Provide player development guidance, skill progression support, and match-play strategy training
Encourage player engagement, retention, and transition from beginner to intermediate programming.
Create a welcoming, encouraging on-court environment.
Communicate clearly with members regarding program schedules, lesson availability, and upcoming events.
Represent the pickleball department in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
