We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant Plant Manager to help oversee daily operations, champion product safety, and support plant efficiency. As our Assistant Plant Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing plant running smoothly and safely. From production planning and inventory management to quality control and compliance, you’ll help lead the charge in maintaining a high-performing operation.
Requirements
- Background in agriculture (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Willingness to get hands-on and lead by example
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and inventory planning
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and expense control
- Follow formulations and uphold feed safety standards
- Oversee QA/QC processes and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, accounting, procurement, and transportation
- Support safety and policy training for plant personnel
- Provide input for budgets, reports, and future expansions
- Travel as needed to support other facilities
