About The Position

The Assistant Pool Manager will work both independently and with the Aquatics Director to oversee the swimming pool and all related activities. The season begins late May (Memorial Day Weekend) and continues through early September (Labor Day), however start and end dates are flexible. The Assistant Pool Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the pool, managing the lifeguard staff, providing excellent service to members and guests, and ensuring all daily tasks are completed to keep the pool up to the high standards we hold here at The Country Club. Compensation range: $23-$27/ based on experience.

Requirements

Exposure to a private club environment is preferable.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained pool environment, including accurate monitoring of water quality, adherence to safety protocols, and consistent facility standards.
Basic Microsoft Word & Excel knowledge.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Ability to speak English conversationally.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Water Safety Instructor
Lifeguard certified
CPR/AED certified
First Aid certified
Swim Coach/Competitive Swimming experience a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee a lifeguard staff of 18 – 24 guards, providing leadership and guidance to ensure they are properly performing their duties.
Ensure a safe and friendly aquatic environment.
Enforce pool rules and policies.
General pool/facility maintenance and cleaning.
Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests.
Administrative duties, including keeping daily usage statistics, point of sale, and scheduling.
Additional duties/projects as assigned by management.
