We are looking for an Assistant Press Operator for our Printing Department in Lenexa.
This is a 12-hour days position, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Week 1 - Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Week 2 - Wednesday-Thursday-Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Week 3 - Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Requirements

• Ability to read a measuring tape
• Desire to learn
• Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Production experience

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing press and all job components for print job (loading specified anilox, ink, film, etc.)
• Manually checks viscosity of ink on an hourly basis
• Makes changes to inks as needed during printing
• Retrieves and returns ink to and from ink room and cleans machine for next job
• Helps perform preventative maintenance tasks on machine
• Performs rework as necessary
