Fellows must be eligible at participants in Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party payers contracted with Emory Healthcare and Grady Health System Other concerns or modifications from the standard curriculum outline will be considered on an individual basis Fellowship Evaluation: Successful completion of coursework will be considered the minimal requirement for completion of the didactic component of the first two years of the program. The participant's performance will be formally reviewed by the fellow's mentor as well as faculty advisors from both within and outside the Department of Emergency Medicine. The clinical performance will be evaluated by the Emergency Department Medical Director/Service Chief of the fellow's base hospital and reviewed by the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Written feedback will include evaluations by all training physicians and students who were mentored by the fellow. NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
