About the position

This position will provide quality teaching, primarily in Professional Selling at the undergraduate level, maintain an active research agenda related to Professional Selling, and provide service to the profession and university. The successful candidate will also contribute to innovative curriculum development. Sales plays a critical role in today’s rapidly evolving business environment, where customer engagement, data-driven decision-making, and strategic sales leadership are essential to organizational success. As companies across industries navigate digital transformation and increasingly competitive markets, effective sales management is key to driving growth, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering value. This faculty role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of sales leaders equipped to meet these challenges.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in marketing, consumer/social psychology, marketing research, digital marketing or a related discipline applicable to teaching and scholarship in the sales/marketing area by the date of appointment.
  • Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in undergraduate teaching in professional selling and related areas.
  • Strong research record/potential demonstrated through publications and/or pipeline including working papers or manuscripts under review related to professional selling.
  • Experience developing or delivering courses related to professional selling.
  • Industry experience or professional certifications relevant to professional selling.
