About the position

The College of Business at McNeese State University invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Business Disciplines. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. The appointment is expected to start August 2025. The College of Business programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). The College currently offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, General Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, a graduate MBA, and a new Certificate in Liquefied Natural Gas Business. The College of Business provides student-centric undergraduate and master's programs that produce graduates with the skills and experience to compete responsibly, professionally, and successfully in our region and beyond. Requirements

  • PhD/DBA in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • ABD candidates who have defended a dissertation proposal are also encouraged to apply.
  • Teaching requirements include a mix of Marketing Management/Strategy, Retailing/Services Marketing, and Consumer Behavior/Integrated Marketing Communications.
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching (both face-to-face and online).
  • Commitment to intellectual contributions with publications in quality journals.
  • Desire to provide service to the College, the University, and the profession.
