The Department of Behavior Analysis in the School of Sciences and Health Professions (SSHP) invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Practice/BA@Simmons Online Practicum Director (“Director”) within our online Master’s degree program. The position will be filled for a 8/1/26 start (exact date negotiable). Work is remote, with preference given to candidates who are available in a hybrid capacity. Ability to travel to Boston may be expected periodically. We seek innovative educators and scholars with a demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development, a commitment to supporting practicum placements, experience supervising student research, and a knowledge of the challenges confronting behavior analysts today. As a University committed to inclusivity, we seek candidates with a demonstrated ability and a commitment to working with individuals across a broad range of social and personal identities and perspectives. This position is fully dedicated to coordinating and supporting the Experiential Learning courses (i.e., Practicum), student thesis research projects, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. In addition, the position requires maintaining a teaching course load within the online master’s program, with a possibility of teaching in other department programs (e.g., doctoral or campus master’s programs).
