About The Position

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenured Open Rank Professor Radiologist to provide night shift coverage for the second shift at Regional One Health, a Level I Trauma Center located in Memphis, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be a strong general radiologist and may possess fellowship training in either Body Imaging or Neuroradiology. Responsibilities will include the interpretation of trauma, post-surgical, and medical CT, MR, X-ray, US studies. The role also includes interpretation of trauma and ICU plain films. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Board-certified or board eligible Radiologist.
  • current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
  • current DEA certification
  • eligible for malpractice insurance

Nice To Haves

  • highly preferred sub certifications/trainings
  • fellowship training in either Body Imaging or Neuroradiology
  • Experience or interest in performing light interventional procedures such as CT-guided drain placements is preferred.
