About The Position
The Division of Dermatology within the Department of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor Term. Your role as a Dermatologist will be to engage in all three missions of academic medicine - teaching, research, and patient care. As full-time faculty, our physicians are required to maintain expert knowledge of the most recent advances in dermatologic care, and the mechanisms with which those treatments are administered. A successful candidate will be expected to train dermatology fellows, residents, and medical students and provide them with a thorough understanding of medical, surgical, dermatopathological, and aesthetic subspecialties, all of which are represented within one practice. Our dermatology practice is the only one in Kentucky that includes physicians who are also full-time faculty members of the Division of Dermatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. This position will provide care in an outpatient setting and with clinical partners through the VA.
Requirements
- board certified or board eligible in Dermatology
- hold a valid Kentucky medical license
