Participate in the overall activities of the Section of Neonatology, such that the highest standards of patient and family care, staff education, fellowship training and individual research are maintained. This person is also responsible for effective interface with other programs and the community as well as aligning and carrying out Section goals. The Section of Neonatology, Community Practice Group provides high quality, complex patient care in support of community-based neonatology intensive care units. Community Practice Group faculty facilitate the coordination of care across a network system designed to leverage practice expertise in quality, patient safety, and outcomes and drive innovation in the delivery of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine to improve lives across a spectrum of ages and disease states .
