Our team has completed projects all across Texas, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and more. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This team member must be self-motivated, courteous, a team player, dependable, eager to learn, accurate and thorough. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting activities and financial reports concerning the construction or maintenance of projects. The Project Manager participates in the conceptual development of a project and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have knowledge of the appropriate codes and standards which govern design and operating requirements.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, Project Managers and Department Managers to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with projects.
  • Performs administrative tasks as required, including preparing estimates and invoices and keeping track of the project's progress.
  • Write Purchase Orders on behalf of Project Manager
  • Create and maintain project job folders
  • Continuously develop relationships to identify and cultivate opportunities
  • Submit approved documents to General Contractor and track progress
  • Request and maintain necessary Certificate of Insurance (COIs)
  • Verify schedules with Project Managers and General Contractors
  • Maintain start-up log with Project Manager to inform Service team
  • Plans and schedules resources to meet project demands
  • Provides regular updates of project statuses to Project Managers and Upper Management
  • Travels to jobsites on a regular basis to oversee projects
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
  • Communicate with customer/contractor during the project
  • Run reports on projects, tracking cost and billing
  • Participate in department meetings as requested
  • Attend job walks, team meetings, and site visits
  • Perform additional assignments as requested and maintain a teamwork attitude
