Grow with us today!   ISN is seeking an on-site Assistant Project Manager to help assist the Project Manager oversee day-to-day operations of a Barracks Management government contract in Yorktown, VA.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years documented relevant experience as a manager of a hotel, barracks, military unaccompanied housing facility, or student living facility
  • Ability to recruit, interview, lead, manage, train, and evaluate staff, and recommend program improvements
  • Demonstrate strong leadership to ensure the program is compliant with contractual performance standards, defined processes, and all security requirements
  • Be physically present on-site during the hours of 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, be available within 20 minutes during these hours and within 2 hours during all other times (24 hours per day, Monday through Sunday) by phone.
  • Able to pass organization and Government background checks
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail, strategic thinking, and clear communication abilities to align contractor performance with agency missions

Nice To Haves

  • Military hospitality management a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Be one of the central points of contact between the organization and government representatives for performance of all work under this contract
  • Utilize and instruct others on information technology systems provided by either the client or the organization for inventory management, reservations, reporting, etc.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to management staff regarding employees, program changes, and workload concerns
  • Help manage surge capacity with the workload as needed
