The Assistant Property Manager position offers a great opportunity to begin a career in property management while working in a professional fun non-corporate environment that offers growth potential. Rising Realty Partners is currently seeking to fill an Assistant Property Manager position for a commercial real estate property in Downtown Los Angeles, California. This position requires previous administrative support experience; previous experience in property management is a plus. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for support of the General Manager and day-to-day operations at the building. This position will report directly to a General Manager and is an on-site position Monday through Friday. (Work from home every other Friday.) Required job duties will be discussed in detail during our interview process.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years assistant manager experience in commercial assets is a MUST
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred
  • California Real Estate License, or, willingness to obtain one within six months of employment
  • Proficient in: Yardi 7.0, MRI (Web & Citrix), Kardin, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook, Chrome
  • Solid basic knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Adaptable with ability to change priorities on short-notice
  • Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Vendor and Service Contract Management
  • Tenant Relations, Customer Service, and Requests
  • Manage COI for tenants and vendors
  • Coordinate tenant move-in/move-outs
  • Handle regular property inspections
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget and operating expense calculations
  • Monthly tenant rent statements and aged receivable management
  • Weekly accounts payable processing
  • Understand requirements of lease agreements
  • Management of On-Site Staff
  • Lease administration
  • Construction management support
