About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for an Assistant Manager in Bakersfield, CA, come join a dynamic property management team! In this role, you will work closely with the Property Manager to deliver exceptional service to residents, maintain efficient office operations, and support the overall success of the community. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a blend of administrative duties and resident-facing responsibilities. The schedule for this position includes working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. The pay rate for this role ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Property Manager to manage all aspects of apartment leasing: touring prospects, processing applications, and negotiating lease renewals. Highlight the community’s best features by ensuring strong curb appeal and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the property and surrounding market. Support maintenance operations by working with the Maintenance team to ensure efficient repairs, preventive maintenance, and a smooth, well-organized make-ready process. Deliver exceptional customer service to prospects and residents. Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns to promote positive resident relations. Serve as acting Property Manager in the Manager’s absence when needed. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant property management or multifamily experience
  • Leasing expert with strong sales and closing skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a resident-first mindset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong with follow-up and communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Schedule: Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Total: 36 hours per week
