About The Position

Overarching responsibility is to maximize profit through the management of margins and expenses; this position has P&L responsibilities. The Wholesale Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the execution / management of the sales process, manufacturer associate dealer programs, dealer volume bonus and Incentive programs. This position is responsible for planning and implementing strategies based on the sales process to manage and attain sales/productivity goals Assistant Wholesale Sales Operations Manager will be provided with the following:  Reimbursed for approved travel expenses Company cell phone Laptop  Compensation and Work Schedule:  The Wholesale Manager position is salaried and includes a variable compensation component based on an established annual Gross Profit target. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail automotive operations, tire wholesale or equivalent experience in a related environment
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in a retail environment or automotive related industry
  • Understanding of all aspects of sales process (inventory, inspect, train, sell, retain)
  • Applicable communication skills with both internal (sales support, distribution & management) and external (customers).
  • Proficient computer skills: Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word & Power Point.
  • Application of critical thinking skills
  • Continuous Training – knowledgeable about current trends through online and classroom settings
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • The ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous personnel management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop business through collaboration and planning with Wholesale Operations Sales Manager, Account Managers & ADAMs and other program resources
  • Monitor sales results vs plan; provide input to develop & execute corrective measures to attain/exceed target
  • Clerical duties to include but not limited to National Account processing & cash/banking management
  • Directly manage inside sales personnel (CSR’s); manage inbound and outbound call programs
  • Assist in hiring, training, & scheduling
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and share best practices across Exxpress Tire Delivery to support continuous improvement
  • When necessary, travel through assigned geography to call on regular and prospective customers to manage relationships and solicit new business
  • Demonstrate strong, fair, consistent leadership with all associates
  • Build and maintain an environment conducive with the goals and direction of the company
  • Protects company brand equity, reputation and assets
