About The Position

The Assistant Store Director will be responsible for helping oversee daily operations to keep our store running smoothly and consistently. We are looking for an adaptable person that can provide exemplary leadership to uphold Westborn Market’s vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to multitask and switch roles with ease
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Helps to manage day to day store operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Fully trained in all departments to assist as needed
  • Works closely with department managers to help aid in areas of need such as development of staff, merchandising, scheduling, and ordering
  • Implements and upholds new and existing initiatives
  • Aids the store director in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new employees
  • Engages and interacts with the public to offer quality customer service and ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
  • Prioritizes tasks appropriately and can re-prioritize with ease
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills in a fast-paced customer-oriented work environment
  • Assists with other miscellaneous items as assigned by Store Director
